Ending Loneliness Together is the leading authority in addressing loneliness in Australia. It is made up of a national network of organisations who have come together to address the emerging problem of loneliness in people living in Australia.
We are here to halve chronic loneliness by 2030. We are guided by these following principles: People with lived experience must be included in developing solutions for managing loneliness • A coordinated and collaborative approach to tackling loneliness is most effective • Evidence-based approaches are the most effective way of reducing chronic loneliness • Capacity and capability to create connectedness needs to be built in the community. We are focused on these key areas: 1) Evidence: Developing a strong evidence base for measuring loneliness — and finding the most effective solutions. 2) Inform: Giving people the information they need to better understand loneliness and the ways to prevent it. 3) Influence: Influencing government and relevant stakeholders to make meaningful change. 4) Awareness: Raising public awareness and inspiring action.
