Elsie Yan is a professor at the Department of Applied Social Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research interests include domestic violence with a focus on elder abuse, resident aggression in long-term care, dementia caregiving, elder sexuality and aging experience of sexual minorities. She also conducts intervention research.
