STOPageism is a campaign with 50+ partner organizations to end ageism in the UK and beyond; from corporate organizations, to large and local charities, to universities, to individuals such as PhD researchers, bloggers, photographers and more. STOPageism works to highlight the ageism found within society to educate people on ageist issues and call for changes to be made that could greatly improve people’s lives.
STOPageism focuses on 3 target areas to end ageism: LANGUAGE – Stopping the everyday ageist language towards one another. CITIES – Making cities more accessible and age friendly. SERVICES – Making services easier and fairer for all to use.
