Civil society are leading the organisation of a colloquium to mobilize and align action towards successful engagement of civil society organisations in the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing and beyond.
Objectives
to help achieve the goal are to:
- Improve awareness and understanding of the organisations can play in the Decade
- Explore opportunities for organisations to be authentically and meaningfully engaged towards driving good policy and practice during the Decade
- Gain insight into the possibilities to build capacity, capabilities, and partnerships in the Decade and beyond
- Gain a better understanding of a common agenda for future collaboration to amplify the voice of civil society in the Decade
