DATE: 12 October 2021
TIME: 15:45–16:45 CEST
This interactive session involved a presentation on the key findings of the first UN Global report on ageism, followed by an overview of actions taken at EU level to tackle ageism and opportunities for further action. This provided a launching pad for a discussion where participants were challenged to re-think attitudes towards age and ageing, reflect on how ageism affects them and their communities, and learn how they can contribute to help build a world for all ages in their context.
