TIME: 14:00–15:30 CEST

WHO is launching the "Framework to implement a life course approach in practice" in a virtual event that will feature speakers from Ministry of Health representatives, WHO and global experts from around the world.

The aim of a life course approach is to optimize health trajectories for people of all ages in every country. The session will highlight examples of how a life course approach can be used to reorient health systems to produce health for all, what is already being done in practice, and what more can be done.

A life course approach includes a good start to life, optimal development (of infants, children, adolescents and youth), adult health and well-being, healthy ageing, and a dignified death at any age.
