Reports

17 July 2019

Overview

This publication reports on the successes and lessons learned from the three-year project "Taking Action on Social Inclusion of Older People", supported by the European Union, Austrian Development Agency and Austrian Red Cross. The project was implemented in five countries of the Western Balkans: Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of North Macedonia and Montenegro, coordinated by the Red Cross of Serbia. The objective of the project was building capacity of civil society organisations working on different aspects of demographic ageing (research, public advocacy, promotional campaigns, community based services…) as well as motivating older people themselves to take part in the processes of decision making and policy creation in relation to social inclusion of older women and men at regional and local level in the Western Balkans countries. This publication is also available in the following languages: Serbian, Albanian, Bosnian, Macedonian and Montenegro.
